Oasis 1st Christmas Friends & Family Dinner, was a success. The little Christmas play, done by the children & others, went over well.
Plenty of food & pleasant seasonal atmosphere was enjoyed.
We are thankful to God, for sending JESUS to redeem us from our sins. We are thankful to Jesus for giving of himself for us.
May we never take away, or squeeze Jesus out of Christmas.
Our 1st Panama mission trip together was very good. We shared the word of God & ministered for 4 straight days. Pastor Bellamy primarily taught, pastor Brown translated & I had the task to deal w/ministering to the sick, many influences & praying for those desiring a new prayer language. The meetings were all well attended. Sunday meeting went on for 7 straight hours. Several people accepted Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour. ¡Gloria a Dios!
Thanks be to God for answering our prayers. Father God held the threatening storm & inclement weather at bay ...literally away from was. He allowed the sister that lost an important piece of software to find it. The food was more than enough & very tasty.. AS we also was hoping to have the 1st thanksgiving Sundy in july. So we did. ... Praise God!!
The lessons on Thank You Holy Spirit, have been very timely in the church (here at Oasis). It has given the hearers, a greater awareness of God's presence in our daily lives.
